A Bayshore Interior by Award Winning, Blackband Design

I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas break, I aim to get a couple of posts up this week but officially still on holiday. I recently featured a bedroom that was nominated for HGTV Fresh Faces of Design, 2015 and I thought you might want to explore more of this beautiful home. The interior design is by Blackband Design , their distinctive style always includes lots of texture and pops of natural wood and they always feature stunning art works. Be Inspired - Christmas Tablescapes

1. I bought this wee tree for my mantel but thought it would look nice on the table too Have you thought about dressing your table this Christmas but not sure where to start, I thought I would share a few of my own ideas and more inspiration from around the web. I was recently introduced to  BloomNation , a flower delivery service which inspired me to share some Christmas tablescapes with you. Burnham Design Part Two - Last Year's Coastal Living Show House

Part two of last year's Coastal Living Showhouse in Coronado by interior designers, Burnham Design. Last Friday I shared   part one of a coastal home with interior by Burnham Design , if you missed this post you might want to catch up first. What I failed to mention was that this home was actually last year's Coastal Living showhouse . Naturally light filled, it is all about the detail in this home from the mix of patterns to the thought that goes into choosing something as simple as a plant (see image 4) whose large green fronds co-ordinate perfectly with the design of the adjacent green and white curtains.  Or less obvious detail that you might miss at first glance, such as the neat, knotted rope handles on the drawers below. I hope you enjoyed this coastal interior, it has made me think more about the use of pattern to bring liveliness to a space and a little braver with stronger accent colours.
