Decorating Easter Style

Image
Photo by Virginia Burney Easter for most is an indication of Spring, maybe a long awaited break from the monotony of work and a joyous time to spend with family, not to mention a time to indulge in the infamous, chocolate Easter Egg. Easter used to be more about eggs and not so much about decorating, however, these days it's taken a little more seriously and most people find a way of incorporating Easter into their home decor. It doesn't take much to decorate for Easter, whether a table setting for Easter dinner or introducing some spring inspired colours such as green, lemon or even orange. These could be towels in a powder room or bathroom, pretty floral cushions or simply a vase of spring flowers, whatever your style there are lots of inspiring Easter ideas so I picked out a few that spoke to me... Australian Interior Designer, Natalee Bowen's take on Hamptons Style

Above: Sub tropical palms bring an instant coastal feel to a home One of my favourite designers a little closer to home is Natalee Bowen, based in Perth, Natalee has become somewhat of an Australian icon in Hamptons style. Natalee of Indah Island  has been in the design industry for more than 20 years, her work has been commissioned both in Australia and internationally. Natalee's work has featured in magazines and also TV series such as Dream Homes, Ready Set Reno, Luxury Homes Revealed (one of my personal favourites) plus several more series. Natalee's style is pure Hamptons, classic with a touch of the tropics. I've previously featured one of her projects on the blog, however, as each project is unique, I thought it would be a good idea to show some different interpretations of Natalee's Hamptons style by sharing images from a few of her projects.
