Photo by Kate Jackson Design Sorry for the few weeks silence, over Easter I was away for a week and since returning I have thrown myself into my art, hence this overdue post.  Generally, I post images of homes with large dining rooms, however not everyone has the opportunity of a luxurious dining space, so, if your looking to down size or need some space saving ideas, then read on. Before you think about planning or shopping for a small dining space, you need to think about your style, size of the space, adjoining rooms and existing furnishing. Small space dining means having to re think that large, long, refectory table for possibly, an oak drop leaf or an extension table. Alternatively, round dining tables are perfect for small areas. Think also about the choice of chairs, keep things neat and tidy when it comes to chairs, simple chairs or for a classic look add some slip covers.
